Unless it acquired the AIDS by intravenous drug use or bumsex, it's the Good AIDS. Well-known fact.

Given that it's a foster cat, I was half expecting it to be called Wayne or Gavin.

Wouldn't have been my own choice, but I can live with Tucker.

went on to play AIDS-riddled Mark Fowler in Eastenders?

A sort of feline nominative determinism thing.

And what is this foster cat business anyway? Either it's your cat or it's not, surely?

The only health impact is a shorter life expectancy :meh:

It's ours on the agreement that we can get rid of it at any time. Takes it off the hands of the pet care home where it's stuck in a cage all day.

Based on my viewings of 'Outbreak' and 'Contagion', I'm pretty sure that can happen.

except possibly it's age.

Not in the spirit of things, apparently.

I'd rather a cat that's dying but doesn't know it, than a cat that was abused by its former owner and walks around on eggshells expecting to be kicked in the **** at any moment.
