Very very easy game for Arsenal.
I've been to plenty of these league cup games where we face lower league opposition and last nights game felt like one I've seen many times.
It's quite simple the game was over once Arsenal scored.
the first half an hour or so the lower league team is going to come out confident and playing well as a unit. They have nothing to lose. They have a belief and a game plan that they will stick too.
Then you factor that the Arsenal line up isn't a regular one so it will take them a while to find their feet. quite a bit of sloppy passing and miss-communication to start with.
However inevitably the superior skill of the Arsenal players will lead to a chance sooner or later and they will most likely capitalist in the end.
Once that goal goes in it was and proved to be a case of how many. As once a lower league team is behind the belief is gone. (it can come back if Arsenal are only 1 goal up after 80 mins) They need to push forward now and Arsenal are going to take them apart.
Also it showed the world of difference from the standard of the premier league to lower league.
As for the fans. Coventry fans made a lot of noise. And as usual made comments on how quiet the Arse fans are and that van Persie reckons we are ****.
What they need to realise is. most of them have traveled for london for the game. and been drinking for many hours before hand. Most of the arse fans are coming in small groups of friends or on their own from work. And it's the league cup we are not going to go mental for beating Coventry.
Also did we have a penalty? I was in the pisser at the time?
