Arsenes' Wanger- Bring back Modd

Mack, this happened to me recently when I was up the Gulf fishing for Barramundi, our great Australian fish.
I flicked my lure too close to the bank and it got caught in a Mangrove Root.
It was a bloody good lure which cost about $20 so I did not want to lose it. I gently paddled over to the bank and leant over to pick it off the root.
At this exact moment that I leant over, my fishing buddy moved over my side and the boat tipped and we both fell in.
I was closer to the bank and I swam over and started to hop out.
I looked around and my friend was still, completely whitefaced and staring right into the face of a 5 metre Salt water Crocodile.
Now, my friend is a Hammers supporter, so my first thought was" no loss", but I had promised his wife I would look after him.
I dove back in and splashed wildly hoping to divert the Crocs attention.
I done my job too well and the Crocodile swam over towards me, his evil unblinking eyes never leaving me. My friend siezed his chance and hopped onto the bank.
There was nothing left to do but die. I gambled and put my arm around the Crocodiles neck and whispered softly in its ear.
After a moment, the Croc swam away and dissapeared. I climbed back into the boat and paddled over and picked up my mate.
He said" thats the most incredible thing I have ever seen. What did you say?"
I replied " I looked the croc in his eyes and said Spurs will finish above Arsenal this year"
Now, not even a crocodile could swallow that.
