we could have won, but so could they, although they didn't put in a very good performance, apart from the demigod Toure. Mertesacker was fantastic imo, but I hope Diaby finally gets rid of his "great game-followed-by-2-3 ****-games" scenario, he looked a tad too leisurely out there, same as 2nd half in France and put us in a bit of trouble again. Wake up, Abou, you glorious dark hunk, you.
gone to like of stoke, liverpool and champions and all unbeaten and just let in two goals this season. we now got a world class team but also who can defend now.
yes diaby was not at his best but he improve with more pratice in training.

seems to be his "style" of play, which is as enjoyable and cool as it is irritating and dangerous, for opponents and our own team at times too. He is the epitome of enigma.

At this level, he can't take his foot off the pedal like he did today.
The Gerve needs to train, I think. Train on ball control and shootin'. Keepy uppies is a good start.

He didn't have the chance to do many of his swashbuckling forward runs http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/frown.gif

slow-motion trickery. he looks like a llama to me, bit like Kanu did. Have never seen two other players like that.

When he's played a lot of games recently, or when he's played very few games? http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/wink.gif
I've done and been into a lot of sports, football is te only sport where players are constantly tired. http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif

the manner in which he lost the ball in our own penalty area in the 2nd half in France and his very strange attempt to "tackle" which resulted in a penalty - well, it actually didn't, but should have. That was more comical than anything though. He was also a bit neglige today in some dangerous situations, but overall I guess it's just his style of playing and i'm hoping he keeps injury-free and puts in a consistent run of good performances. His style of running has me hypnotized actually.

pass completion was just as good as Arteta and Cazorla... It's just that they were mainly backwards and sideways. Though PV4 made a career from that, amongst other things.

was **** today when, in fact, he was one of our best players.
Diaby has always been a target because of his poor injury record. Bendtner and Arshavin also get a lot of flack when there are far greater problems within the squad (see Chamakh & Squillaci).
more consistant thats for sure

frustrated, to the point where I thought he was just taking up valuable space in our squad. I don't see how on earth one can blame the actual player for a horrific run of injuries, as if he was hiding in the trench, stabbing his own legs to get away from the front http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/shrug.gif I wish him all the best of health and good form.
harming and now that Bould has come in, he has stopped.
Or possibly he was just lying and was never injured?

Gibbs is ****e crossing, though. Diaby was not bad in the first half, just way below his own extremely hgh stadard inthesecond.
Any scapegats today would be Gerve for not converting chances - mnd, chances he did well to get to - and Mannone. But I don't blame Vito alone for the goal. Would he have taken it had he stood on the line?

Was he subbed?
something on the ball and Arteta shouldn't have left his post. Bouldy will be addressing these issues tomorrow, I'd imagine.
Wonder if Ramsey will play against Coventry. Hopefully he can get back to his pre-injury form when he was fantastic.
