Held it together till he started talking about Rocky then I started http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/cry.gif

The guy's thick as pig **** but he's definitely one of us. Remember the day he broke Cliff Bastin's record against Bolton I think - amazing day. Too easy to forget all the good stuff. Top man imo.

cup final. i remeber when he cried in semi final when he was booked and george gave him a right earful calling him a crybaby and to get on with it. second half he then went out and played like a total man to get the team to the final . when we won trophly he was so supportive of his teamamates and showed what a proper gooner he was.

wrightly your a legend. http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/bow.gif

Good with both feet, exquisite chipper. Faster than anyone even when well into his 30s, great in the air. A better goal average than Henri and an unrivalled passion and will to win, often getting himself in a bit of bother. Fearless. There is no greater gooner. I'll never forgive that c u n t paul mince for that tackle that ended wrighty's 98 season and ruined his chance of the world cup in france
LEGEND

But you could never accuse his football punditry of being insightful and thoughtful
