David Platt... er,, that's it, isn't it ? Unless you want to usher forward Robbie Savage, Dean Ashton and the mighty Geoff Thomas.
It gets worse, they also brought on Seth Johnson.... gasp !

maybe if you don't just think footballer's are either good or **** and realise there are areas of grey you would understand. Danny Murphy, Rob Jones, David Vaughan all decent players. They are hardly going to produce a Lionel Messi

players over the years and although a larger club, they're not exactly a big club either.

With Crewe all you get is Dario Gradi is god and all these players they've spawned.

Wimbledon achieved far more in terms of what a non league club can do on a modest budget.

hardly minnows, and would probably have a historic claim on 3rd in terms of London clubs.

Crewe, for a small club have done wonders producing players that go on to play in leagues 2/3 divisions above them.

the comparison with Wimbledon isn't really relevant when talking about the development of players

cracking little player Vaughan though - O'Neill seems to have ruined him at Sunderland
