and he was clearly injured against Southampton - hence Mannone warming up for most of second half and Colin Lewin talking to him a lot. Unless of course there was another gunman on the grassy knoll

Didnt look right st the time. Injury is a perfectly logical explanation.

How well he's done but to be honest I think we have defended rather well so far he really hasn't had that much to do. Still a big worry on crosses.

Not sure why people are making such a thing about it. He made a mistake which resulted in a goal. Now injured, no big mystery.
If one wanted to conduct a Friday luncheon Awimb witch hunt one would be quicker to question the stupidity of the challenge by Vermaelen that resulted in the other goal we have conceded this week.
If Jenks or Gibbs were responsible the knives would be out.
