Can't believe some of the dross I'm hearing. Last time Mannone had a run in goal he went 8 games undefeated. This time around it's 3 and counting. His last two loan spells he was reported to be excellent.
The c**ty thing about this forum is that people love to hang people out to dry for mistakes. Mannone obviously made a couple of mistakes before which led to us getting a draw rather than the win. No big disaster. Everyone makes mistakes. He's young and he seems more mature and less rash now. Looks more composed than ever.
If you wanna talk mistakes how about that Polish c**t in the Carling Cup final? Or the countless headrush moments where he comes storming out his box like some 'tard? He's an outstanding shot stopper now doubt but it's the basic things that f**k me off about him. For instance he is by far the worst distributer of the ball I've seen from our keeper for years. I remember Lehmann used to get the ball, launch an inch perfect throw to someone making a run and the counter attack is on. I never see that from Chesny. He is also the worst kicker of the ball we've had in a long while. The amount of times I've wanted to punch something when he's kicked the ball out of touch or to an opposing player.
Pisses me off that people here thing he's untouchable. Get a grip. Mannone is doing a good job at the moment and deserves his shot.
