For the football this weekend you may not have an alternative as tickets are scarce. The tickets themselves are fairly distinctive and not easily faked. Have a look at one online so you have an idea what they look like. You are likely to get stung on the price though.

My advice to avoid that would be to try to get one on the day, go down to the pubs near the ground and wear your county colours as you may pick a spare up from a genuine fan who are more likely to pass one off to someone who seems genuine. More to the point, the touts will drop prices closer to the throw-in.

There were plenty of spares floating around on the day of the hurling final, with the price drop I'm not sure that the same will apply. Hope that helps.

Never been to Croker before but heading over this weekend hopefull6 for a Mayo win. Got a load of cousins heading down to it so hopefully will pick one up on the day, wasn't sure whether to try and pay over the odds and get them beforehand but will wait I think.

Monster things.

Get the usual places. The Big Tree, The Gresham area. They'll be lads who have got stuck in traffic or just too drunk to get out of bed. You may be lucky. 2007 I went there were loads of spares 2009 there was nothing about.

They're amazing things to be at - the town is cracking. Though I had the best laugh when we've lost. Everytime I've gone Cork have lost though!!
