some lessons to refresh. I know I can pretty much drive so it shouldn't take long to get ready.

However it was quite a few years ago now.

But my girlfriend says no don't waste money I'm going to buy a fiat and you can practice in that. I said no it's illegal. Don't worry it will be fine. I did that in Italy no problem.

I am not to happy doing this. What does awimb think?

I'll just do the lessons on the sly imo.

Don't think I can cope training with her in the seat telling me off .

It's all about producing a near flawless drive and acting in manner which you will NEVER drive again afer the test.

And of course not being a c**t. Sorry Monty.

as I got failed for nothing.

Even my instructor told the examiner it was bull**** and they nearly had a fight over it.

I f**ked it off after that. :quitter:

You know you can't fail on 'nothing', I'm quite sure of that.

buying your own car to practice in. I had a load of lessons but only really learned to drive once I started going out in my own car.

Especially if you already know how to handle a car. Going onto a-roads and tackling major roundabouts when you don't know what you're doing would be pretty dangerous.

on the way back to the centre. I was pretty happy.

Going up some narrow street. woman pulls in with a caravan on the back.
So she can't pass me so she backs up out of the street.

As she backs up I move forward ever so slightly.

Examiner says no you can't pass her there is no space. I Said I wasn't going to pass her I was moving forward a bit as the cars behind me were all tailed up too.

But apparently this is a big mistake http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/rolleyes.gif

I would recommend some refresher lessons from a teacher, just to prepare you for test conditions driving.
