View Full Version : I've only just seen the fifth set. I was so convinced he'd lost I went to bed because I found it far

too harrowing to watch this poor man losing everything from such a position of strength.

I couldn't even sleep properly and woke up at 5am and crept down to see what had happened. Just before I clicked on the beeb, knowing he'd lost, I allowed myself the little fantasy that he had somehow found the resolve to take that fifth set and mercy me, a picture of him kissing the trophy!

I actually dislike the miserable jock **** intensely, and I rarely watch tennis but this match got right under my skin. I couldn't even be bothered to watch England tonight. I am a changed man.
