was his first grand slam win? It was the US Open on 10th September 1933. What a coincidence that Andy Murray is now attempting to win his first grand slam 79 years on the very same day. when he decided to go for tennis and put the footie boots away. Today there is, imo, too much focus on specialising at the age of 5 as opposed to letting kids have fun ten years longer.
