To use it to sleep in Miami, fantastic town! , hostelmiami.com or something $20 a night or something, save your pennies and take a puddle jumper to the out islands of the Bahamas! Just the out islands though as the tourist **** is well whit, Bimini is prov my favorite.
As for Calif the best time I had was flying into San Diego renting a motor and driving up the Pacific coast highway stopping wherever, of course you need the time but its a cheap way to do it, much better than other times ive flown to la or Frisco and had a hotel booked.
