ex was scottish. In-particular Glasgow to see her rotten family.
I hated it so much. So much so that one day I had a had a flight around 2pm to Stansted.
It was early morning I was so eager to leave I f**ked the plane off and paid £90 to get the train.
manor house type thing we've rented in November. Though that's not Glasgow, that's in the f**king arse end of nowhere, in the middle of the highlands.

I wonder what they ask these days? Celtic or TTFKA Rangers?

Otherwise it'd be better going somewhere on the Eurostar.

the west stopping at many charming places on the way. The nearest I came to Glasgow was the ring road. No intention of stopping in that ****hole.

Probably still have woolworths open too.

Actually that's not true, it once kicked right off in a hotel bar but that was because of two EDL/BNP ****ers from Burnley.

May as well get Asda Value Scotch. I doubt I'd taste the difference.

One of the only places I've visited in the UK outside London and thought, I could ACTUALLY live here.

and if you factor in airport waiting times plus travel to the airport and from the airport at the other end, then you're probably talking about a 5 hour door to door journey, which is about the same as on the train.

Though that is flying from Stansted or Luton.
Still, only 55 mins on the plane.

I hate waiting around. I'd rather know I am heading somewhere on the train than just sitting there.

Costs the same on train or plane. Train takes 5 hours, plane takes 1 hour. No restriction on check in so I get there 30 mins or so before departure then get picked up from the airport.
The only advantage I see to trains is that they deposit you in the city center.

I like to get to my destination as quickly as possible. Sleeping on a bed on a train makes me feel slightly queasy. How do you know who else has been on it?

created by the fact that they claimed to be travelling around Europe yet had only two small rucksacks with them.
Next morning 3 passengers claimed to have been robbed, and the Injuns nowhere to be seen.
