have the same holidays as through a main agent, first choice, but at half the price always makes me weary.

itinery for honeymoon, especially as the lass we spoke to had been to most of the places in the States we wanted to go to but yes for a general package holiday I wouldn't go near a travel agents

you're looking for a honeymoon they think "ker-ching" and go for the up-sell?

And I'm not sure I'd neccessarily care about the opinions of a girl who's only made it as far in life as becoming a travel agent.

Ownersdirect.co.uk has some fantastic properties all over the world. This summer we stayed in a superb self-catering apartment in a prime location in Montenegro for £30 quid a night.

and advise on hotels. I knew where I roughly wanted to go but just wanted her to make sorting it all out easier. I did the east coast of the states myself and while it all worked out fine it was a massive ball-ache to do. Lazy yes, unimaginitive no

though it's on the decline with people booking their own trips online.

But these companies will have other departments such as tour groups etc which is still as strong as ever.
