I find it outrageous that one has to pay - how much is it - 60 pounds? - to have a lady at the Ryanair check in press the print button for you. How is that particular sum justified?

It should also be mentioned that Ryanair probably is the only airline in the world where won needs a boarding pass these days.

Boarding passes could be printed out like with Ryan air, tickets were obtained by checking in, so essentially the same thing... they didn't charge for it however

You can't really argue with their charges given that the basic ticket price is far cheaper than any alternative in most cases.

So long as you don't mind spending a moment or two or your time at home printing it, you'll save yourself a lot of time.

The fact is that in order to offer the rates that they do they have to do such things or it just wouldn't be profitable. Surely you don't need people to work that out for you?

Just did 4 internal flights in the states with family = 400 extra dollars

a lot of people try and smuggle huge carry ons as a result

if they succeed - people with normal/smaller sized carry-ons end up having to put them in the hold as no overhead space left

if they don't (on busy flights) it gets taken off them at the gate and put in the hold for free (so worth trying it on) and everyone gets delayed.

I fly at least 8-10 times a year,and once you add all of the additional charges from Ryanair, it's not much cheaper than other airlines (including scheduled flights).

when I flew there. I bought no additional things when I flew back - though I did take Lady G's washbag, and they charged me for my luggage being overweight!! Since when has a washbag weighed 6 kilos ffs?!!
