He produces buzzword bullet points 'The historical 8% unemployment plateau' for example, but never delves further than a simple dangling of bait.

Constant relaying of national voting polls, without the comprehension to understand 'national' polls are borderline statistical noise, with little impact on the Nov outcome. the election will be won/lost on literally a handful of 'Swing States'.
Voters thoughts in California, Alabama, New York, Wyoming, Georgia, Illinois are irrelevant.

For someone who claims to monitor all media sources, he seems oddly consumed with generally repeating the claims of only one fringe outlet.

Incidentally, whilst it's correct no President has been re elected with unemployment of > 8% since 1936, that fact must be considered in conjunction with the fact the economy in 2009 was the worst since the Great Depression of the 1930's!

Ergo, one should ask, not merely where are we now compared to 2009, but where would we be today under the 3years 8months of Republicans? That's a debate for another time.
