by saying we are not good enough

should take a long hard look at the mirror

I'll allow a little for the journalists spinning this crap about clichy and nasri being proven right

Some fans seem to think once you play for Arsenal you should want to stay there forevermore.

Arteta aside, they all come here on improved contracts.

eg

that the players left behind weren't regarded as good enough by clichy , nasri etc - this includes sagna. (Not every player left behind when nasri left could have been good enough or they would have won as ateam right?)

that if city can win the league without van persie and song, you dont need van perise and song to win a league

that if your mentality is we are not strong enough to win the league at a club, you won't win the league at that club...

etc

at best sagna is an idiot for falling for a journalist stitch-up. at worst he just shat on his own club teammates and fans.

As well as the obvious financial gain. So one could argue it was a good career move in all cases.

I can’t think of many players who would have been perceived as stepping down to us.

When Nasri left people argued that he should have stayed as we offered as much on a footballing side as City did, not sure that is correct. He was accused of greed as the move was deemed to be for financial gain only. Similarly van Persie has been accused of leaving for no other reason other than greed.

Anyway, don't we normally hide and blame these things on journalistic **** stirring?

How many years was Cesc continually mis-quoted and/or having his words twisted (in our opinion).

if city and chelsea's spending is allowed to continue unrestrained.

football clubs may often be rich men's playthings - but spending so much has essentailly rendered all conversations about whether people fare joing for money or trophies moot.

Would City have won the legue had Clichy and Nasri not joined?

Conversely would we have faired any better with them?

good players you accumulate, it only takes one bad managerial appointment to send the whole thing askew.

And owners of clubs like City and Chelsea are always looking to change their manager because they are always looking for something bigger and better.

What are the chances of Mancini being at City in five years, even if he wins it all between now and them?

He clearly is an utter c**t but then so are many players I like. At times the ball seems glued to his feet - great player to watch when on song (not when on Song though I would imagine)

Back when he was in our family.

Source from the FFF spoke about his behaviour at a major tournament. Funny how the general opinion on Awimb 'supported' him when stories of unrest between him and Gallas arose.

And being adults we should admire them for their talent and skills on the pitch while ignoring everything else about them.

it's just called "having a career". Veng and Ferguson are, of course, exceptional.
