View Full Version : Rather amusing situation with Lloris

Brentwood

Firstly, Deschamps criticised him for moving there, saying he didn't consider Spurs to be a big enough club for him. Then a few days later:

Quote:

Speaking at their base in Clairefontaine, Deschamps told L`Equipe: "Hugo has not appreciated the statements of his coach.

"I am not going to create a problem that I do not need today. But if it were to happen then it would need some consideration. I do not want Hugo to find himself in this situation."

AVB seems like a charlatan to me. What does he do now, drop an in form Fiedel to make way for the new boy? That'll make him look weak now

Rumors already that he has lost the players. Time will tell, i doubt he will see out the season, yet alone the year.

which i'm hoping will backfire

The player will be wondering if the manager wanted him or if it was a chairman signing

from the players for them to take him seriously. Especially a nice guy like him. Different if it was a nut case like Keane or Di Canio (terrible examples, I know)

Problem is this day in age, the fans can't handle failure at all and always blame the man in charge. As bad as King Kenny did, Liverpool should of kept him, as should of Spurs and Arry. Neither of those two clubs will be anywhere near top 4 this season (points wise)

(club legends, old heads, young prospects, etc) does sharpen the mind to how ridiculous the notion is that there is anyone who could do a better job than Wenger at Arsenal.

5 years. So much ****e is written about the style of play at Swansea. They kept it well, but they did f**k all with it.

What has he done to deserve to get a big job like that?

although I think he's hanging on for the United gig personally

Arguably Spurs make more money available every single season, and they have tried every different type of manager during Wenger's time. What makes people think we could lose Wenger, find someone else, give them the same money and finish higher in the league/win more

commands respect, understands the PL.....could probably do with winning a trophy though

Fairly sure they won't go for Jose

Some may say we don't compete for the title, trophies etc now. Well i think we do, would only be worse if Arsene was to walk away.

Also, Joe Cole cost them a lot in wages, hardly played (injury prone) and then went on loan

He's done a cracking job this transfer window and that defeat to WBA probably won't do any harm, bring them back down to earth a bit

short time as a manger and appears to have got a job based on his team being good at ball retention and being flavour of the month.

He was sacked at Watford and Reading, then got Swansea up through the play-offs, and Is suddenly worthy of the Liverpool job. Ridicules.

and the way he stirs his tea/gives post-match interviews is infuriating, but we're old and wise enough to appreciate what we've got, and what we stand to lose.

In fact, if there is, that's even more a reason to keep Wenger.

The idea of cheering on someone else's Arsenal, right now, with Wenger likely to have another 10 years of management in him, makes me feel sick.

As should the thought of cheating on anyone you love.

Personally I hope they carry him out in a coffin.

He is our manager and that's an end to it.

You're right though, I feel; to get somebody "better" in to win His trophies for Him would be pretty sickening.
