double inverted run for his big chance yesterday. Excellent for the 1st goal. Prescence takes the heat off and creates space for others to do the damage. Only a matter of time until he scores.

different side this Arsenal...more opportunities for others to pitch in on a regular basis...unlike last season when over realiant on 1 player. Really if you think about...if he was bang in 30 this season then we ought to be winning the league.

His teammates just need to learn that he's a footballer too, not just a big bloke.

or is in the right team that could play to the strengths of a striker of that size. What West Ham and Andy Carroll did on Saturday is a good example of both

He will be fine, but don't compare him to an "english" style center forward.

Played for Antwerp for a year when he was 19. At that age he was one of the best players in the Belgian league, in a very very **** team.

difficult to speculate when it will come. For some, it will be premature, for some it will be delayed.

works hard, makes excellent runs off the ball and gets into the right positions.

Hard to make an informed judgement after 200 minutes of competitive football in an Arsenal shirt.

If we jumped to conclusions this quickly on Bergkamp, Pires and Henry we would have all been forced to eat our words later in their Arsenal careers.

Weren't Belgian players, and the League, a bit gash then?

ability. At six foot four, this is not such a lazy assumption either that he should have some aerial ability

heading ability. Just as his colleagues wouldn't hoof long balls up to him and expect him to get on the end of crosses.

He is simply too tall to avoid the presumption that he is good in the air. Remember we even used to hoist the ball forward to Bergkamp & Henry if we needed a late goal.
