Tried to catch one and when he shouldhave punched. Was out of position for the near post shot that hit the post. Parried straight back into play and was bailed out by vermaelen's quick thinking.

I reallydont like the wayhe moves about the goal. It is scampering, real lack of precision. He terrifies me still. That said, on balance, he did ok. He did get a vital hand on the loose ball when per made his risky but well timed tackle in the box. I really thought that was going to be given. Excellent refereeing sctually.

Far more worrying was the blatant foul on him not given, after giving a completely ludicrous foul on reina earlier. I am afraid the ref looks at it, thinks its mananone and assumes he dropped it. Same thing happened to fabianski at blackburn. He was fouled about 5 times in that game and the only one given was one where sagna backed into him.

Suarez didn't get much either probably because it was him. Actually thought the ref had a decent game

Thought arteta ran diaby close for man of the match. Our midfield looks light years away from last season.

Slight teething problems here and there but there was so much about that performance to be proud of.
