..from lucifer and looked to his new toy, man. Lucifer became so jealous that he led a rebellion, a mutiny if you will, against god and god cast him out of the kingdom of heaven and damned him to an eternity in the firey depths of hell.

second highest paid manager in the world.

Moreso than other managers maybe. In fact, almost certainly.

Not forgetting, of course, that this was the reason we actually hired Him in the first place.

He was brought in to revolutionise the club and win but circumstances have changed that.

a financially and footballistically sound manner was crucial too.

The two are heavily linked; no Wenger (or someone like Him), no new stadium. The circs haven't really changed that much at all.

Seems like a sideshow for him. He has literally invested nothing and is sitting on a much higher share price with a much weaker team etc

we were not thinking of a bigger ground before Wenger, Highbury did not regularly sell out until at least 97/98.

Now he wants the money back.

We now have a multi billionaire backer which means that the financial risk to the club is at a minimum.

We can afford to take a few more risks and quite frankly its appears that RVP was spot on about the direction of the club.

No Wenger's fault but its shocking how year on year we sell to make a profit and invest so little back into the club while asking fans to pay so much to watch the team.

Trophies not the main issue but lack of ambition and bleeding the club for profit is.

There was always talk of extending Highbury or a new ground but agree that he wasn't bought in with that in mind. The likes of Liverpool and Tottenham have always had the same ambition regarding grounds.

Arsene Wenger has been/is a genius but wish he would stop following the party line and just say he has to make a profit ever year for the board/owners.

just like all the other Big Clubs do and have done for years.

back up the trips to Asia with success on the pitch. We do it by selling our players and screwing the fans.

This is the first year in a very very long time I feel that our major ambition is to finish top 4 and if not top 4 then above Tottenham.

We are almost one injury away from not having a front line.

which are hobbling us.

There's no evidence that the owner is taking out profits.

Manchester United sold their best player for loads and still haven't really recovered.

It's not just us.
