She's got a hdc of 18 now. Played a bit this summer. Footie takes too much time for her to become a pro golfer, I fear.

Does she believe in the bible totally? Even the bits that contradict the other bits?

(Or aeroplane for that matter)...

The only survivor in the Diana car crash was her bodyguard - because he was wearing a seatbelt. The others were not.

I mean, the ability to suspend your disbelief, your scientific, rational mind, your innate questioning of reason and all of the scientific advances that have subsequently come to disprove many tenets of the judeo-christian belief structure.

That takes some doing imo

and then sort of work your way up the anthropomorphic personification ladder until you get to the realy big one.

GOD

you're basically replacing one belief with another, only a more cynical and darker belief, which rejects a beautiful afterlife

Also, absence of belief is not belief. Typical tired, lazy and basically very stupid theistical arguments.

Be free to fantasise about your afterlife - just don't expect everyone to believe you.

That might have sounded facetious but I am truly jealous of those with faith

every time i ask them how can you prove there is no GOD, they speak about their beliefs and convictions that there is no GOD.

atleast we have the miracles of jesus to support our case, atheist have only beliefs, in the end the're in an inferior positions in this debate, scientifically speaking.

beside even if one can find flaws in some of the narrations in the bible and argue about their accuracy, the key stone in my belief is the existence of a GOD, which makes more sense than believing we came from a stupid monkey or a fish.

Nobody can actually prove the existence of god, there's a whole wealth of evidence to suggest that we are a branch of the mammalian evolutionary tree though.

If somebody could prove there was a god I would believe in him, any god.

That's my point about faith

that is verified.

if you refuse to believe it then its up to you.

how can you confirm arsenal went unbeated in 2004? if there was no tv cameras? 1- we were there, we saw it, 2- it was documented.

the stories of jesus mircales are exactly the same

is no proof at all. Then again maybe you're just http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/fishing.gif ..

to take a leap from that to claim we came from fish and monkeys is bizarre.

there are plenty of evidence in he existence of god, but you choose not to believe in them, thats the thing with free will, we make choices and we have to be counted for our choices, a set of inferior evidences about the evolution made sense to you and you choose to believe in that.

thats life
