Liverpool last March : Szczesny; Sagna, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Gibbs; Arteta, Song, Rosicky; Benayoun, Walcott; Van Persie. Subs: Diaby, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabianski, Jenkinson, Gervinho, Chamakh, Miquel.

The idea of team continuity seems to count for nothing anymore. Not sure why this is- probably because players f**k off on a whim these days http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/shrug.gif

Apart from those who have not attracted any interest from elsewhere. It's down to the clubs wage structure. We just don't pay enough to keep the decent players. Arsene and the board may think it's too much to pay a footballer and no one is worth it. However this club will never climb to the top again unless wages are paid that are at least competitive with others. We will never be able to compete with the mega rich and that's fine. However we need to stop paying the lesser squad players more and improve the wages of the top few.

Would be good to go 2 seasons with the same key players. This selling top 2 every year is not helping.

if you give in to one player's demands, it's bound to have a snow ball effect on others' demands as well and our already big wage bill will spiral out of control. it could also be argued whether some of this wage bill is spent on the right players wen you look at arshavin, bendtner, squillaci, chamakh etc seemingly finding it difficult to move on as the wages are a stumbling block http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/rubchin.gif
