Well, Louisiana now has a Republican Gov. and a Reform minded Dem as Mayor of NOLA. Things will be different at that level, unlike the Democrats Abandoning people at thatlevel in 2005. In 2005 duly elected Democrats ran for the hills and allowed 1000 of their constituents to die horrible deaths because they were unprepared. But they blamed Bush and the media ran with that.

If it hits NOLA, I predict that Obama will be out on Bourbon Street directing traffic. Unless it is a direct hit, then the media will blame Romney and wonder why The Gop held their convention amidst tragedy.

Im sure there'd be quite different at the Federal level too Chief. For a start the President wont remain on vacation this time.

The debacle of Katrina was the fault of ALL levels of government of ALL political persuasions. It was disgusting. Don't cheapen the memory of those that died simply to score political points, however inaccurate you continue to be.

Didn't the GOP postpone Mondays convention kickoff? Are you saying they'd did so on the meteorological of the liberal press without double checking? superb stuff, even from you! Is that all it takes?
