Lydon will be a tedious prick as always, but might be ok overall.

Hasn't everything been possible done that could be done? Especially when the magic of the era was about being in the present. Loooking back in the past tense means that the "moment" is gone and all that you are left with are memories and some admittedly ****e music made by 'musicians' that cared little about their craft.

Couldn't really overlook it.

Closer to song construction. Not everyone's cuppa but a lot of musicians like it.

I guess what I have always been offended by from that era was the pride these guys had in recalling how they couldn't play their instrument and furthermore didn't care.

I caught a bit of the strangles on TOTP2 on Saturday night. Burnel's guitar had no strings and he had a pick in his hand I think http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif

come to think of it, it was Hugh Cornwell.

why Steve Jones was one of the tightest guitarists he's ever worked with - and it's true. One of the reasons why it's a good album, in fact. The only one who couldn't play was Sid. I always assumed that Glen Matlock played bass on the album - I'm waiting to see whether the programme clears that one up.

I should have said 'musicians and people who really love their music' as I've seen the series slaughtered on here by people who are only interested in surfaces, and somehow felt the need to justify it.

Glad you liked the Who one. http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/smile.gif

I really liked Glen Matlock though. Reminded me of Sir C, for some reason.
