who was Marseille's right back apparently. They must have spent more than City since bringing in Torres and Luiz?

Platini's fair play rules are obviously not worrying Abramovich - the way some on here sanctimoniously go on about Ivan and Stan's parsimonious financial dealings you would think it was their own money that was involved. I can see though that having to pay the deadwood that were on the books when they took over the club must be a problem .

Taking account of players sold and past profits we have actually spent zilch. But why let the truth get in the way of a good story http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/smile.gif I agree about the striker bit though and you can add a back up GK a DM and a proper LB to the shopping list . Why Wenger thought we needed another tippy tappy Spanish midfield player only he knows . I guess though that it was probably because he thought he could get him on the cheap .

Just change the 8OM TO 4O thewn and my points still apply - I know you want to believe that we are going forward under Stan but all the evidence says otherwise.

If you can't see why we run the club the way we do, in the financial climate we do, then there's little point discussing further imo

Almost a direct quote from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

So is Chamakh ...I was thinking of one with Prem experience who doesn't need time to adapt ... we still look short in other areas so my expectations for us this season is just 3rd or 4th again .
