being trialled at the time. From what i remember it was sort of a **** version of government and politics. Our role in society etc...
I had to do it, i wouldn't have chosen it if i had the choice. Pile of ****e.

well French was as they wanted to make the GCSE results look good. I had never got below an A on any French exam and got a C for the O level. f**kers

I did it for 2 years then gave it up. I do think it's a good base to learn other languages though.

but decided to have a laugh with my mates in resistant materials instead. Ended up getting a saturday detention for designing door handles that looked like a vagina and a tongue.

I hated it at the time, but Latin is one of the most useful subjects I did. Not only are most over Romantic languages far easier too learn, but my English is probably a bit less **** because of it too

Each pupil took a sentence at a time. We had some classes on verb endings and **** like that but that was basically it.

We had this youngish guy called Mr James who was a good teacher but a blatant *****. He would sit back on his chair wearing short shorts (he also coached one of the football teams) and grasp his ever-present boner with one hand while gesticulating with the other.
He was a f**king weirdo.

I'm not sure the drop in difficulty helped for some subjects. Maths is certainly far too big a step up from GCSE to A Level. Hell, the change from O Level to A Level was fairly big.
