So I need more surgery on my troublesome groin. It turns out my underlying symptoms from before were not caused by a hernia, but from something called Gilmore's Groin.

So I am being cut open on the 6th September by a top Harley Street doctor. Wish me luck Awimb...

I cannot have sex for 3 weeks this time and even then they say I can only resume gentle sex. What the fcuk is gentle sex? I won't cum if I do it gently.

Erm, I don't even walk for 20 minutes a day now...

Mine should be worse as well cos they have to remove the mesh first from the hernia op.

Of course walking 20 minutes will become a fast run for 20 minutes. Getting from one to the other could be the painful bit. The first time you bash the bishop, it will feel like your balls have departed up your groin and are grinding against your pelvic bone. My gilmore groin was a "very minor one"

I got to choose the doctor and they did it at the Royal Free, Hampstead, nearly 11 years ago. At least you get the private wards on the top floor.

I'd shudder to think that it could have been someone like Rich doing it.

The chap who took over from Jerry Gilmore (who discovered it back in 1980) when he retired a couple of years ago.

My private healthcare doesn't cover the whole cost of their fee's as they get to charge top dollar to professional football clubs normally. So I got to pay the shortfall myself.

I'd imagine they would charge a fortune... Probably why I never went there.
