O'Neil had 11 men behind the ball and it was hotter than a bread oven at the Emirates yesterday and you could see the players struggling in the heat...

We still had over 23 shots on target.

I'm hoping Wenger will bring in more quality to re-enforce the squad with the money from the RVP and Song sales...

As to Song going to Barcelona - good riddance.
Enjoy warming the bench over there.

In 2 seasons time you'll never hear of him again and he'll be ploughing his trade somewhere in the middle-east leagues..

When I got home - I stood under the shower for 10 minutes with cold water pouring onto my head to cool down....thought I was suffering from heat stroke...So I can well imagine how the players were suffering...

We were in the Albany Pub...it was like playmates convention in there....

And the pub was beautifully air-conditioned...so there was lots of "peanut smuggling" going on...

Right on ... the Sunderland ones were okay though they are used to hot weather in the North East of England . Anyway Wenger says the problem was that our players lacked sharpness - how it was that the Sunderland ones were match fit is something that he should ask MON about.. we also failed to score in the first game at home last season losing 2-0 to Liverpool ... WAS THE WEATHER ALSO TO BLAME FOR THAT http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/banghead.gif

And we have a completely new attack who only met a couple of weeks ago.

Didnt see the game but sounds like it was one of those- played pretty well but couldnt put the game away.
