Pods shoulders from the start is no disgrace. When the squad settles and if Sahin gets in, I feel we'll we'll be more of a one man goal machine.

You could say some of our players are not match fit and didn't have a long enough pre season together. That's an excuse. Conditions are same for everyone.

for the team with an attacking intention to progress in those conditions - it was energy sapping - as Arsenal were doing all the running. Sunderland had 2 banks of 4 players just occupying the last third of the pitch and did not really move from that position - thus conserving energy....

BTW: Did you go to the match or watch on TV/Stream?

If you went to the game - you'd know how hot it was and debilitating - and that was just for the spectators...
