Bayern have made a huge bid of between 30-40m Euros for the player and have been talking in the media for two days as if it was a done deal, but it isn't yet and apparently an English club is trying to muscle in on the deal at the last minute.

City, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been linked in the past, but City don't really need him - especially after buying Rodwell.

Chelsea are the most likely suspect, but he would be great for Arsenal. That's a lot of money to spend though and it's hard to see Wenger agreeing to the deal, but we have the money with RVP going and now Song too in the same position that Martinez plays...

City seems like a good shout to me. Mancini seems to equate spending with prestige.

Think Bayern will still get him anyway. They won't want to lose face having (stupidly) announced the deal as being imminent without a final deal agreed or terms with the player...
