Despite all of the hot air they are not a CL club and can't match the big clubs for wages. And like us they're going to have to manage finances more tightly for a few years in building a new stadium. Wheeler-dealer Redknapp could never have coped and it will be a big challenge for the new guy.

I don't think one year missing out is a disaster if you've been in it regularly, but equally getting their only once in the lifetime doesn't make you a CL club in a potential player's eyes.
