I mean, I only sat through the entire bid presentation for the Silly Festival of Minor Sports but they were pretty vocal about using the "games legacy" (boik) as a way to regenerate some of the poorest boroughs in the country.

How many times do planners attempt to integrate scummers into decent living areas only for them to pull the whole place down within a couple of years.
It's the cripples and decents on low incomes who get effected most by these people.

They will always be small minded, nasty, grasping, mealy-mouthed, bigots who begrudge even the hardest up the tiniest bit of help as it moves them one rung closer to them on the ladder.

I'm just pointing out the fact that they'll be major social problems on the athletes village within a couple of years, which will almost certainly impact on outsider numbers wanting to come in and use the facilities.
