it is reasonable that we only spend what we can afford?
Lots of calls for the Uzbek to come in, but do we really want to be completely reliant on one person???

And we knew it was on the cards last summer. Precious little pointin getting upset now. It isnt even news.

Fans dont understand the finances of the club because we dont get told the whole truth, and rightly so. But it does make it a little frustrating. What we can 'afford' isnt always going to be a precise calculation.

he has made no promises and has offered no money.

All he has done is proclaim a (more than questionable) love for Arsenal and criticism of the current board.

All i said about walcott was that it wasnt looking good, that we were into august and he still hadnt signed a new deal.

To my knowledge he still hasnt. Hardly ludicrous to suggest that it is a concern.

a club, to then generate more revenue?

Isn't that like how most lower league teams get promoted etc?

Kroenke has hardly been ideal, but better he just stay in the US and not interfere than do a Glazers/H+G and actively make bad decisions for us while siphoning capital out of the club.

It's no longer a case of a businessman investing a few million. It's tens of millions to catch up with the likes of City, Chelsea and Utd.

...the bilionaire owner has only a medium term ;ifespan in my opinion and many clubs will end up pissing in the wind when they leave. The rule for clubs only spending what they generate will happen sooner or later and we will be well positioned to exploit that. Another knock on effect is that it will put downward pressure on wages and mercenary players.

But I tend to remember arguments I have had, so I am going to guess it was relatively calm dialogue http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/smile.gif
