is we did. We could have made him see out his final year of his contract. The upside being he could have helped us to win something & wouldn't have strengthened a rival. The downside is we would be £20m lighter but so what, this could have been made up by success on the pitch.
Chelsea, man city or come to that Man u would not have sold a similar player to a rival & there lies the difference.
