It's almost like he has more important things to sort and think about at the moment.

Arsenal fan

Perhaps the last one that comes to mind was Frank Stapleton who by coincidence had also joined ManU

Either we accept it and adapt how we adore our players. Or we give up on modern football like Dorset.

They couldn't give the slightest toss about the club or the fans. They say they do because it's what we want to hear and lap up, but they are in it for personal glory and wealth

It's not that much different to when we signed Theo Walcott from Southampton, is it? Their manager and fans didn't particularly want to lose him to us

But yeah, the Club should get our attention, not the players

Forced their way out of the club in the last five years.

The public statement was a bit c**ty though

press and criticised the club, not what one would expect from a captain. It should have been done behind closed doors not in the media.

The only thing I object to is the way he did it, by making a statement like that. I can't blame him for wanting to move to them, as much as i hate to say it. Maybe he had to make the statement to force the move to happen

If he is fit.

I dont really care. We got good money for him and i was resigned to losing him a year ago.

I am reserving my anger for when we sell song and dont replace him http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/smile.gif

And Graham Hunter says he'd told Cesc he was leaving last year if we didn't win anything, and that he'd been in touch with the Mancs since Jan.

fan for that matter? I want to see top players & an improving team not bulging shareholders wallets. We are a football club you know....

while he has been left behind, trophyless. He's seen inferior players like Toure and Clichy leave and get immediate success, he's seen Henry, Fabregas leave and get success. He has one last chance to do the same.

The other thing is, if he did stay, would we have signed all/some of these new players we are all so excited about? Because they're the only reason we think we now have a chance of winning something

Did he refuse to train? Did he refuse to play? Did he do something against club rules? No, he wanted to work for a different Organisation. Get over yourself.

joining another premiership club, the rest is history as they say

Anyway, I said all I had to say on the cnut, he can ***c off

Brentwood

and maybe he would have liked to have done the same, but if Barca or Real weren'tin for him, then you can't expect him to join Juventus when he has a chance to join Man Utd

Maybe in an ideal world he thought he would have moved to a foreign club but he only had one option - Juventus - and Italy was possibly not a good fit for his family. Very different priorities for a father of two whose children have been born and raised in England to a single lad going back to his home town

we just have to accept that Footballers do exactly what is best for them and their own, not us fans.
