In the financial model of arsenal than us winning trophies. It all started with Ashleu cole. It's no coincidence that every summer one of our star players becomes disloyal all of a sudden.

Selling out best players to english rivals year after year is just great isn't it?

Now what will happen with song and Walcott who also has one year left on his contract?

the sooner kroenke leaves he better

better than selling out to that Usbek who will probably ruin the club in no time at all.

we were always going to be tight for cash until we could renew all the sponsorship deals that got us the money for the Emirates

I bet he still can't.

We should ask him to name the Arsenal team that won the league in 02/03 and see his response

& support a healthy bank account over success on the pitch!
Whilst not overly happy to have the yank as the owner it is a bit harsh to lay the blame at his door we have done this for years as far back as Brady & Stapleton. Build a great team then sell it down the river. That is the reason we have never had sustained success like Liverpool, manu & to a lessor extent Forest in their heyday.

for running the club.

1) we become the Uzbec's plaything

2) we put ourselves into debt for a slightly better chance of winning a trophy.

Funnily enough, when I first started going, I had very little interest in silverware. A half decent cup run and a UEFA Cup slot was a good season. We're miles ahead of that these days

Seeing as they played Malmo in their first final and had a stupidly easy run against teams like Grasshoppers suggests they had some luck at least in the old format european cup.

We couldnt do it now, for the format alone

They were one of the two best teams in England and that's pretty good already, even in broader European terms. We, for instance, are trying to win the Champions League from 3rd or 4th, Chelsea have just won it from practically nowhere.

Could explain why in interviews when asked about a player rumoured to be leaving that he "expects .." to remain a player.

Perhaps a simple thought that he believes people should honour contracts in the way he does.

In the past I have always dismissed it as naivety.

redgunamo

if it suits both parties to do so. That goes for Him and for all players as well.

As soon as it no longer suits the player to stay, or us to keep him or either of those or even both, then the contract can happily be broken with no hard feelings.

Which is essentially what always happens.
