OK, perhaps he went a year too soon but it's 24m in the bank to reinvest.

makes no sense at all when they need a couple of midfielders, have Welbeck and Hernandez and have a similar player in Rooney. I do hope the whole thing is an epic FAIL

needed to react. Getting RvP is a massive coup, regardless of how he actually plays (which nobody can ever really predict, in any case).
Simple as that, I think.

Totally agree we could be stronger and others will step up a bit. Three good attacking additions and the team won't be tailor made to suit the one player.
