"The Arsenal academy system is working well for the north west..."

For all the points made, the reality is that he is not the first major player in the last 3-4 years to tell the club that he does not see them as serious trophy winners and thus wants to go. When are people going to realise that Wenger has lost credibility. Nobody believes he and his system will win anything anymore. His time has come and gone. To be a successful club you cannot develop players to their peak and then see those players disappear of to a rival club. Lets be honest there is no way on earth that one of Manure or Man City's key players would come to us because for top players Arsenal is a step down. Nice club but win feck all.

The Board have got comfortable because Wenger has always done enough to be in top 4 but it seems like the Board don't have the driving ambition to be the best and Wenger is no longer capable. Of course Fergie gets on with him now......because he doesn't see him as a threat.

Seeing RVP go to manure is a really watershed day. Cesc can be excused and frankly Nasri has always been a mercenary and knob. However this was our captain who has been at the club for about 7-8 years and who has seen us bring in 3 international players over the summer. He still considers that the club is going nowhere. That is a massive statement about the club and the ambition behind the closed doors.

United will pay £22.5m, with a further £1.5m one-off bonus to follow if they win a Premier League or Champions League title in the next four years.

unless we get the basics on the pitch sorted, what goes on off the pitch is largely an excuse.

I'm kind of hoping that Bouldy will be that guy. Wishful thinking, perhaps
