To follow up the Giroud as a world beater sory, we now have Kos saying he has "everything he needs here" (obviously winners medals are not on his wish list), Poldoi saying the fans can expect goals and assists from him (http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/rubchin.gif wonder who that is supposed to be like) and the Ox discussing his 2exciting" first year. One might even suspect they are softening us up for bad news, whatever can it be?

they would never show pictures, or even mention, opposition goals.

Also, on a similar vein, the bloke who sits near me at games calls his dad whenever we score a goal, but he doesn't tell him when the opposition have scored.

So if we score, then the opposition score 3, and the bloke's phone rings, he'll get all excited thinking we're gone 2 nil up when in fact we're now losing. How annoying must that be?

But won't buy his dad a radio?

Through any number of media outlets

I do appreciate how it might annoy you though.

and heartfelt interaction between this father and son.

That alone makes it far more important than what the score is or whether or not Dad owns a radio and who bought it for him for Christmas.

I worry for their relationship whennsomething bad happens.
