For someone who didnt really like him I've read quite a few books about clough. To me he was the alcoholic in an odd green sweater, hist teams played rather dull football with rather dull players, all kitted out in sensible haircuts.
I have to say though, the stuff about his early life and his early managerial career is absolute gold.
A blinding book even if, like clough, it sort of petered out towards the end.
