shallow grave 4/10 - a thriller that barely reaches the standard of an average law & order episode. snivelling camerawork, embarrassing soundtrack, keith allen.

trainspotting 3/10 - awful book turns terrible film. charmless actors, sick-in-your-mouth advertising campaign, no story, pretentious photography.

a life less ordinary 0/10 - christ.

the beach 0/10 - making a film of an alex garland book (pretentious drivel) is embarrassing enough. making the book seem like the better option is just laughable.

28 days later 0/10 - story by alex garland AGAIN, shoddy photography, single-handedly wrecked the previously fantastic zombie genre, shut down piccadily circus to film a sh*t sequence while i was trying to get to work, english actors doing mockney accents.
