He's so composed on the ball and his final ball is perfect. I can see him creating a lot of chance for the likes of Walcott.

Podolski's second goal was everything I expected of him. Clinical finish, hammered into the net. Those are the chances that Rosicky/ Arshavin miss all too often. He made it look easy. Also thought Yennaris did quite well and Chamberlain looked very good in the centre of midfield. Giroud held the ball up well and showed good awareness.

It will be interesting to see who starts on Saturday. The squad is shaping up nicely. Why did van Perise only play 20 minutes I wonder?
