Maybe I'm still a bit pished from last night, and I realise that most wont appreciate this sort of venture, but, I'm finally going to make a lifelong dream come true.

The deposit is paid and I'm just waiting for the airlines to release their new rates on flights in October, but I'm off to Botswana next year.

Going with this outfitter. Anyone else ever wanted to do this...

30 feet from the jeep in Kruger. Some girl in the next jeep wet her shorts. Jesus Christ they have got a roar on them. Like nothing on earth.

12 days all in all. First 2 will be at Victoria Falls then 10 days in the Okavango Delta.

Will be dry when we go, so looking forward to the congregation of animals at the water holes.

Hopefully I'll have a **** load of pics to show you lot.

I was initially going to go for the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater but learned a lot from this website.

But I was given so much valuable info by these people that eventually my head got turned around and I decided on Bots'.

Check out that website, Trixie. You may want to register and if you want to see something specific, they will help you out no end.

Most of the people on that board have been going on safari's all their lives.

There are professional photographers who are members who can give you all sorts of advice too.

It was a warm night and they were assured that there would be no lions around. So they left their tent flap open to keep cool.
