While this summer's transfer dealings are significantly better than last year, we are far from being the class act we once were. Leaving aside RvP which arguably is not worse than most other clubs have but look at the Bendtner, Squillaci and Park fire sale with nobody wanting them is a disaster. It was seriously poorly handled. Even if a club were interested in them, why would you pt in effort when the club made it so clear we want them out? An incentive to wait for Arsenal to pay for someone to take them off our hands. Never would have happened in the DD era.
