View Full Version : Why will Wenger win in this RVP's saga?

1. Wenger will bench RVP and use Giroud and Poldi as his main strikers. Reason: Clear, Arsenal is more interested to use players who commit their long-term future to the club. Having RVP in the bench is not doing any harm to Arsenal but Arsenal can benefit from having a player with such a calibre in its disposal.

2. If RVP is not happy and he decides to play as a mediocre player, he will not be able to demand high salary to his next employer because his standard is decreasing. Moreover, if he is injured again. It's a gone case

3. In order to be able to demand a high salary, RVP has to play well and maintain his current playing standard. By doing this, we will be able to gain the benefit (perhaps get a trophy). If we get a trophy, RVP will re-think his decision. He can leave on high and get high salary with his new club. In other hands, he can stay and get a higher salary package from Arsenal.

Arsenal is right to hold RVP and not selling him to Mancs. This is a serious mistake. I am eager to see more of our newly-signed players rather than dwelling on this saga. Long Live Arsenal

As much as it pains me. If we get an offer of 18-20m, we should take the money.
