View Full Version : So if Van Persie does go to United, no doubt for a wage increase that would have been topped

elswhere, where does that leave the theory that he only cares about money?

It suggesting that a player would never want to leave Arsenal for anything other than personal greed, perish the thought that he may actually believe another club has a better chance of success than us.

After all Nasri left last summer for no other reason than money.

He will go for footballing reasons (his personal ones) .....if he goes.....maybe he feels it is better to have 1 more year at Arsenal to see if we can win something this year and than go for nothing

loves the area & the schools. He is leaving one club that won nothing last seaon for another that won nothing last season but who will pay him & Arsenal more, hmmmmm http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/rubchin.gif

If RvP joins them they have two proven strikers, two top class emerging strikers, real strength in depth at the back. The only area we are not significantly weaker is in midfield except that their midfielfders can tackle.

In that they were 60 seconds away from the title.

We were about 4 months away.

the other just coming back from a cruciate, we have a vastly superior midfield and they have Rooney....Welbeck, Meh....Chicarito is ok

Dutch Gooner
08-09-2012, 11:52 AM
I think he will be tempted by that scenario

4 months away from the title? More like 4 years

City still have the stronger squad, despite that moaning c**t saying he still needs to strengthen.
Taggart will still have scholes and giggs on the bench. players like Welbeck and cleverly look a long way off and we all saw what happened to Young in the Europeans :stunktheplaceout:

look at the facts. He is 29 this is his last big pay day, he can virtually double a very good offer from Arsenal, he may well get injured again. As some on here would say "You can't blame him"
I don't agree with that sentiment but it is probably a fact, sadly.

he's only going there. All *******s.).

Also, It wasn't leaving as such, just not posting as much, which i haven't.

Going from about 50 posts a day to a couple (if at all) is as good as leaving imo. Wasn't doing anything today, and had a quick read on here.
