View Full Version : I flew with Ryanair yesterday.

I felt all smug as I boarded with a small box of Pringles, some peanut m&m's and a pastel de nata to pass the time. Imagine my shock when I realised I had forgot to pack a drink!? Not only did it mean having to speak to one of the staff on the plane, it also meant paying 2,50¤ for a can of Pepsi. And a 250ml can at that, not even proper bloody size! That is basically 1 cent per millilitre. Amazing how they justify that.

With regards to Ryanair, they are cnuts aren't they? Away from having to remove stuff from my suitcase as it was slightly over their 15kg limit, they really do not shut up on the whole flight do they? Constant sell sell sell, I had my earphones up at full volume and I could still hear them droning on over the tannoy.

I will need to investigate another carrier to Seville I think. I have a feeling it is only Ryanair who go there direct though.

They are what they are, a cheap airline.

Personally I don't want onboard picnic so the beverage costs etc are of little interest.

¤40-50 return to London Stansted. Ding dong.

I do wish they wouldn't bang on so much on the tannoy though.

I'm not a fan of Ryanair but for the price I pay I don't expect much, just a seat.

a swimming pool, you're fcuked.

Had dinner at about 11pm and all the restaurants have things outside that spray a fine mist of ice cold water in the air every few seconds. It works really well at making it bearable to sit outside at that time of night.

They say the flight is 20 minutes longer than it actually is. So when they take off 10 minutes late, as they always seem to, they land before the stated arrival time and are therefore ontime.

Trains do the same. My train into London puts the arrival time at Cannon Street about 10 minutes after the arrival time at London Bridge, it is 2 minutes away. But as they judge 'being on time' as reaching the final destination before the stated time, they hit it easily.

Every time I've been through there it looks like a mob of people are trying to escape the zombie apocalypse or something.

I loaded up on the food and drink for the flight. Managed to get my ears blocked and it took 4-5 days to unblock. The aircraft must be the rejects from a proper airline.

I'd always assumed it was from picking up a minor ear infection in a swimming pool or something. I'm quite a sensitive soul, you know.

How is the hernia. Did the physio get you doing the sprints as part of the recovery?

when used to surf lots until discovered the olive oil trick after a surf..otherwise sea water would turn to muck and ear ache within a few days everytime.. also the feeling is quite addictive as it trickles in imo..put head on side..fill up the ear..hold nose and pump by blowing and stopping http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/smile.gif

I'm seeing another couple of doctors now on Harley Street, one who used to be club doctor for Chelsea until last season. I also have a groin disruption that isn't healing itself so I may need further surgery on that as well. Back next Thursday to find out my fate.

I haven't physically checked in with them for years.
