have been released every two years in October, from what I understand.

Apple supposedly begun manufacturing the new iPhone a month or so ago.

Some Japanese site got hold of the parts for a new iPhone and built it themselves. Here's what it looks like -

if you want something that is easy to pick up and use and you do not need to think about browser, PC connection etc, then iPhone is the best phone. If you like to experiment, have lots of options, change the look and feel of the phone, then an Android is a good option. Don't bother with Windows mobile. If you want power then an HTC One X is the best phone on the market. The Samsung S3 is just as good but lacks in build quality.

work with the new won.

Wait for all the moaning to begin - if people don't like it, they should buy something else.

I buy a track on iTunes when I'm out and about and it is on my computers when I get home.

As it's the apps that truly unlock the splendours of smart phones.

I can do that too. The only difference is that, with the iCloud, you do not have physical ownership to a music file, but instead you have shared ownership to a file on the Apple servers.

and Android has a far more customizable UI than Apple. In terms of smoothness, they are neck and neck. The Safari browser on the iPhone was better than pretty much anything Android had to offer, but with Firefox and the latest chrome, that advantage has gone.

The only reason to get an iPhone is because there are numerically more apps, not necessarily more variety and you can connect sync and use without any thought.

Android app store has 95% of what apple's does. Plus a whole lot more that Apple didn't allow onto the App Market.

There is more of a learning curve with Android becuase it has many more options. It is a choice for you to make.

distinct numbers of apps. there are a few apps on Android that are not available on the iPhone and vice versa. Having 15 options for the same app in the app store, verses 5 in the Android market, may make you happy.
